Okay, I have to ask because I’m genuinely curious: what do you have against lightskin Jabber? I completely understand the issue with white Jabbers, but what’s the issue with lightskin Jabber? He’s canonically lightskin and is depicted as such in both the anime, non-whitewashed merchandise, and the manga. While other characters with darker skin are shaded as such in the manga (e.g. Semiu, Corvus, Felix, and Gil), Jabber’s skin is consistently drawn without such shading. Also, while I’m not condemning you or anyone else who depicts Jabber with darker skin, I wonder how you see this in relation to the issue with lightskin/mixed (as Jabber is supposedly mixed due to Urana supposedly saying he’s Latino in a recent stream) people sometimes not being considered “Black enough,” and how that ties into things like Black identity and colorism. Again, I’m not trying to condemn you or say you agree with that idea, but I’m trying to understand where you’re coming from.

Hello, I just want to keep this straight forward because I'm not best at words at all. The only reason I /dont like/ light skinned Jabber is because he's way too white for his features. Urana draws him extremely white as well as the merchandise are him being extremely white, jabber has black features (mainly his locs) which bothers me a ton. For someone who's light skinned, it's weird to have such a hair type that's mostly seen in pure black/African people. White people or light skinned people can get similar hair types like curly hair, but not afro textures hair(which can be styled to locs unlike other hairstyles). I don't exactly hate how he's drawn but I don't like it.
